OUR STYLE
The Danielle Elayne Portrait style of photography is artistic and timeless. The portraits created during your session are inspired by fine-art portraiture, fashion photography, and classic editorial portraiture that focuses on the elegance of simplicity.
SCHEDULING
We recommend planning your Maternity Session for between 28-34 weeks. Everyone carries differently, of course, so there is room to be flexible here depending on how you are showing. Your printed images and selected product will be available within 4-6 weeks of your session. This can vary depending on which products you’re looking to take home with you (and the time of year), but that’s the safest time-frame to plan for.
For a Beauty Portrait Session, we recommend scheduling your session for at least 4-6 weeks before you’d like to have your product in-hand.
YOUR SESSION
Even if this is your first time ever being professionally photographed, you will feel completely guided throughout your entire shoot. All of our clients also share with us how much FUN they had during their session—something they didn’t think was possible while having their photos taken! Full hair & makeup styling is included in your session. With Danielle’s expert posing, lighting techniques, and guidance, you will feel completely comfortable during your one-on-one photo shoot experience.
WARDROBE
As part of your portrait session, you have access to our wardrobe selection of simple staple items. The majority of the images you see showcased on our website are clients who chose to be photographed in our studio wardrobe. These range from beautiful silk fabrics, flowing cover-ups, casual blouses, sheer garments, and simple pieces that our clients love. Once you have reserved your date, we will send you a thorough guide to prepare you for our time together.
DISPLAYING YOUR ART
We offer high quality fine art prints, gorgeous photo albums, and stunning wall art options to display your art and beautiful memories. You will see samples of these options during your consultation or at the studio during your shoot.
PRICING
Fine-Art Portrait Sessions at our Austin, TX studio start at $600 for your Session Fee. This includes personalized planning for your photoshoot, full hair & makeup styling, a one-on-one/fully guided photoshoot with Danielle, access to our studio wardrobe, and professional editing of your images. Printed product to display your selected images and the hi-res digital image files of your selected images are purchased separately.

Every client I’ve ever photographed has said at some point during their session: “This. Is. So. Fun.” I know that MIGHT sound a little hard to believe at first, seeing as most of us [myself included] usually feel uncomfortable in front of the camera—but this process is about so much more than just having your photo taken. It’s a day to feel pampered and celebrated. A time for you and I to connect and create. To chat and laugh. To have fun, listen to loud music, and play dress up. There’s so much more going on than just the photos being taken. You are creating art WITH yourself and FOR yourself. And, just like yourself, 99% percent of my clients (the women you see showcased on this very website) had NEVER had portraits taken like this either.
It’s easy to imagine a very “serious” scenario in your head: A photographer with a camera pointed at you saying, “Okay! Now…POSE!” First of all, YIKES. That would make anyone cringe! Secondly, that is quite literally the opposite of how our time together will go down. This process is something that you’re guided through the entire time. Through the styling, through wardrobe recommendations, through a complete Preparation Guide, through detailed posing guidance—and, most importantly, all done with loving, expert care in a relaxed environment.

Hello there! I’m Danielle, and I love being a photographer.
I know that sounds obvious, but there’s nothing more true I could say.
Photography has always been the biggest inspiration in my life. It’s a love that started with travel and street photography when I picked up my first camera over 15 years ago, eventually turning into an all-consuming passion for portraiture. Whether it's through my own sessions or exploring the drool-worthy work of artists that inspire me, I am always seeking more.
Every woman you see featured with love on my site is a woman just like you. A woman who took a step out of every day life as a mother, a friend, a wife, a business owner, a teacher, a therapist, an accountant, a barber, a busy HUMAN—and took a moment for herself. They are women who put their trust in me to feel celebrated, to feel confident & cool, and to become their own art. The reasons that brought each of them to me may be different, just like your reason is unique to you, but collectively it is the courage to do something new and the desire to see yourself as art that has you here.
As for the basics, I’m an Austin, TX native with some BIG dog-mom energy. I feed my travel bug as often as possible and I also try not to leave the house as often as possible. I’m a compulsive list-maker, big time cooking/eating enthusiast, and I fill any empty spaces with reading & coffee. I’ve watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy more than any other human on this planet (TRY ME!) and promise I won’t talk about it too much during your session…maybe.
But, most of all, I know that I was meant to be a photographer. To find and reflect beauty back onto the people I meet, to live with a curious eye, and to share authentic and meaningful art. LET’S BE FRIENDS. Okay?! Okay.
